Film title sequences can be beautiful bookends that tell their own stories and enhance the film viewing experience. This title sequence is for a short film that I wrote and directed. Since the short film is a kid’s story that takes place in the 1970s, I went with a playful mid-century look. I wanted it to have the same feel as the cut paper animation prevalent at the time. I used multiple animation techniques to finish this piece.
