I was approached to create a brand identity for a local fashion designer and stylist. She wanted a mark that represented her design aesthetic, which is retro and innovative at the same time. After moodboards, sketching, and refining, we landed on a fresh take on y2k. Once the mark was decided upon, I also developed an animated logo reveal for her social media pages.

The client liked elements from two marks. I combined them into the finished mark and its secondary marks.
Logo treatment
After sending the previous round with a texture and color combination mockup, the client decided to revisit a texture from the moodboards that she prefered. It is a refracted, dark glass look with subtle color.
Animation tests
The glass 3d model was built and lit in Blender. Two different clips were stitched together and effects were added in After Effects.
